                                                                           LJ DAY 2019

                                  17th February

On February 17, 2019, 13 LJ's assembled at the Causeway carpark in Perth city to drive in convoy to Whiteman Park in Caversham. Along the way the small but select group received several thumbs up and waves from passers by.

In the midst of these classic cars was one brand new 2019 Jimmy kindly supplied by Melville Suzuki. The trip to Whiteman Park went well with the convoy, in most parts, staying together. Another LJ joined the group at the park which made a total of 14. They parked on the bank opposite the Car Museum with the LJ 20's then the LJ 50's and finally the LJ 80's lined up for all to see.

It was a great day and the club would like to thank our visitors who came along, some from far away places, to celebrate the beloved LJ Suzuki Day.

                          LJ Day 2020

                              23rd February

On February 23rd, 2020, 12 LJ's assembled at Fraser Point carpark in Perth city to drive along the coast to Hilary's and then onto Whiteman Park in Caversham for a BBQ lunch. Vehicles came from far and wide including Hayden from Pemberton and Nigel from Albany. A great day was had by all and we believe, as this was an interstate LJ event as well, our turnout was the same as the Illawarra Club in Victoria. Thanks to everyone who organised this (what has become an annual event) day. Looking forward to next year.

                       LJ Day October 2021

On the 24th of October, we all met at Coles, Gosnells. There were 9 LJ's. Our trip took us up Brrokton highway, winding through the hills to Canning dam for our first photo shoot.

From there we headed out along Albany highway to eventually arrive at the Wungong Dam. Another photo shoot then onto Alan and Chris's venue for our BBQ luncheon.

It was a great day, the weather was very kind and thanks to all who participated.

Great to see those LJ's out and about.

Our next L J day was on March 13th 2022 up in the hills meeting at the Lakes Roadhouse. We travelled many dirt tracks getting plenty of photo opportunities.

12 LJ's turned up for the run. Lunch was had at the Chidlow park under the gazebo.

It was a great day, excellent weather and great camaraderie.

                                        LJ Day March 12th 2023

15 LJ Suzuki's turned up for this run, a great turnout indeed. We drove to the old Midland Workshops and took several photos. Janelle's drone shots showed a very different perspective also. A few took the advantage of Syd and Phyllis Cafe nearby to get coffees and cool drinks. It was warming up.

From there we drove up to John Forrest N/P making our way to the Parkerville Tavern

where we had morning tea - Krispy Creme's all around.

We then drove onto Mundaring Weir and checked out the water level, took a few more photos then putt-putted to Kalamunda then down the ZIg-Zag road, admiring the wonderful view. Turning left at the bottom, we drove to the Bowyer's where we had a rather grand BBQ and fizzy drinks/water. Though the day heated up quite a bit,

a good time was had by all. Thanks to all who participated.
